# Missing Data in Superjoin Preview

> Troubleshooting guide for incomplete data previews in Superjoin - learn how to import your full dataset correctly

## A lot of data is missing in the Superjoin preview. What do I do?

If you notice missing data in the Superjoin preview, follow these steps to ensure your full dataset is imported correctly. This FAQ guides you through preview limitations, importing all your data, and troubleshooting filtered or blank previews.

<Note>
  **Quick fix:** The preview only shows 100 rows by design. Click the **Import** button to get your complete dataset.
</Note>

## Why is my data preview incomplete?

<Info>
  **Superjoin intentionally limits the data preview to 50 rows.** The preview is designed for a quick snapshot—not to show your entire dataset.
</Info>

This limitation exists for performance reasons and to keep the preview loading fast. Don't worry—your complete data is still available for import.

## How do I get all of my data into Google Sheets?

<Steps>
  <Step title="Locate the Import button">
    Look for the **Import** button in the Superjoin sidebar or preview area.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Import">
    Click the **Import** button to load your full dataset into Google Sheets.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for completion">
    All eligible data (not just the previewed sample) will be imported to your sheet.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  The import process typically takes a few moments depending on your data size. You'll see a progress indicator during the import.
</Tip>

## What if the preview shows nothing after I apply a filter?

<Warning>
  **Don't panic if your preview appears empty after filtering!** This is a common scenario and doesn't mean your data is missing.
</Warning>

### Why does this happen?

The preview filter only applies to the first 100 rows. If your filtered values aren't in those initial rows, the preview will appear blank. However, **this does NOT mean your filtered data is missing!**

## How can I confirm my data after importing?

<Steps>
  <Step title="Import your data">
    Click the **Import** button to bring in your complete dataset.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check your Google Sheet">
    Navigate to your Google Sheet and review the imported data.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify filtered results">
    Often, records that were missing from the preview (because of the 100-row limit or filter location) now appear correctly in your sheet.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Success>
  **Expected result:** Your complete dataset, including filtered values, should now be visible in your Google Sheet.
</Success>

## Summary & Best Practices

  <Card title="✅ Do This">
    * Always click **Import** to get your complete dataset
    * Check your actual Google Sheet after import, not just the preview
    * Remember that previews are limited to 100 rows for performance
  </Card>

  <Card title="⚠️ Common Issues">
    * Don't panic if filtered previews appear empty
    * Don't rely solely on the preview for data validation
    * Don't assume missing data if the preview is incomplete
  </Card>

### Troubleshooting Steps

If you still can't find your data after import:

1. **Review your data source** - Ensure the source has the data you expect
2. **Check your filters** - Verify filter settings aren't too restrictive
3. **Adjust connection settings** - Try different field selections or date ranges
4. **Re-import** - Sometimes a fresh import resolves sync issues
